Our Tribute to Geneva

All of us are deeply saddened and still in shock over the death of our beloved Geneva. She has been a mainstay of IRFC for many years and will always be part of the IRFC and Angels Across the Globe.

Many of us are contributing to the Parkinson's Foundation in Geneva's memory. In addition, Angels Across the Globe is doing something special as a unit to honor Geneva, "The Little General." Todd and Geneva's husband Ken have approved a memorial fund in her name for "Heal the Bay" where Ingo is a Board Member. As you know Geneva attended an annual event for "Heal the Bay" as long as her health would permit. She was a loyal participant in the Heal the Bay for its cause and for the time she could spend with so many. "Founded in 1985, Heal the Bay is a nonprofit advocacy group of more than 10,000 members. Through a combination of research, education, public outreach and policy-oriented programs, Heal the Bay is working to make Santa Monica Bay and Southern California's coastal waters safe and healthy once again for people and for marine life."

On the form, you will be asked to fill in your name, address, etc. Near the bottom is a comment section. That is where you say that your gift is in memory of Geneva Renegar. Give aag@ingorademacher.com as the address to notify. "Heal the Bay" will give us a list of donors - but not the amount you are donating. We will forward the names to Geneva's family. However, "Heal the Bay" will keep us posted on the total of our donations on a weekly basis as we move along in this, and we will post the total as it is updated so you are all informed.
